Project kickoff: Digital marketing training intervention for Ethiopia Ministry of Tourism, in cooperation with JICA

Following a successful three-year market entry support program with Ethiopia’s tourism private sector, CBI has extended its support to the Ministry of Tourism. Bonfire is contracted to design and facilitate a series of digital marketing capacity-building activities with Ministry staff of different departments and seniority levels to promote awareness of digital intervention in destination marketing and address specific skills gaps. We have joined forces with the Japan International Cooperation Agency, building on JICA’s existing activities of promotion and training with MoT.

The project kicked off with a hybrid training seminar between Addis Ababa and Cape Town on December 8, 2023, and will continue until the end of Q2 in 2024.
